Usually not a good excuse. But let me explain... so we have a chocolate lab (he's more like a chocolate horse) and he is extremely playful and active. We let him run around in the backyard most of the day then put him in his pen at night. Yesterday we heard him growling and hitting himself against the house. We ran out to check on him and low and behold, he had (after a few other unsuccessful attempts) pulled the cord to our internet out and chewed it up. Our internet is fiber optic so we have a cord that connects everything and yeah, he ate it.
So, suffice it to say, our internet was not working. Network connection not established- as the cord it sticking out the side of our house. Luckily, I married the smarted man on earth and he went up in the attic and found some slack in the cord and was able to wire it all back together.
Here we are, connected again at last. Hopefully we can teach Kido that chewing the cords is bad... and hopefully the internet problems are over.

Hey Jen- I found your blog through Kacie's. I totally feel for ya about your dog chewing your internet cord. We have a black lab and she's chewed up so many things. My favorite was our neighbors skirting and insulation under the trailer when we lived in our trailer!!! But you still end up loving your pets anyways. :)
